The Role

Lovevery is looking for a Social Media Community Specialist who has a rich understanding of all different social platforms and is passionate about managing an interactive community of parents. The Social Media Community Specialist will be in charge of infusing our social media captions and posts with child development research and scientific studies while partnering closely with our Lead Content Researcher. The Social Media Specialist will be a master at knowing our customers’ voice and needs to ensure their voice is consistently heard through social’s content.

In this role, the candidate will be the social go-to for our community’s Instagram and Facebook DMs and comments. The Social Media Community Specialist will serve as the community lead, partnering closely with CX, Brand Partnership and Influencer Marketing teams to monitor messages and CX requests throughout the week (up to 1 hour on the weekend is required). This will include flagging any urgent or negative responses to Director of Social.


  • Own writing social captions in partnership with Social Media Coordinator, Digital Content Specialist, Lead Content Researcher, and Lovevery Experts as needed
  • Monitor and engage in brand-related conversations with Lovevery’s community across all social media platforms
  • Respond to community’s Instagram and Facebook DMs and comments in partnership with CX teams
  • Join all CX trainings and report on Community Insights from CX to Social and vice versa
  • Request rights for UGC Performance Marketing requests for their ads
  • Be communication touchpoint for social x content and growth teams
  • Report insights gained from monitoring performance to internal stakeholders regularly -- weekly and monthly.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • You think parenthood and early childhood are really inspiring things to work on and you have deep empathy for parents.
  • You get the Lovevery brand and can represent it authentically.
  • A passion for social media marketing and community building is a must.
  • 2-3 years of direct experience with Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills; customer-facing experience is a plus.
  • You are a hustler and a creative thinker who is resourceful and doesn’t need hand-holding; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Always on top of social trends, tools, and staying updated on the latest best practices
  • You have strong attention to detail and high organizational and project management skills. You’re able to work relatively independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing/communications or similar with a record of strong academic performance.
