The Role

We are looking for a creative and analytical Performance Marketing Specialist that has gained previous experience in managing paid campaigns on Facebook/Instagram and is eager to extend her/his knowledge about the full range of performance-driven marketing channels.

You will be responsible for planning, executing and optimizing international campaigns for various marketing channels while working closely with our experienced Performance Marketing Manager in Amsterdam and our team in the USA. Our products and supporting content are beautifully and intelligently designed, and you will play a crucial role in marketing our products dominantly our Play Kit Subscription Boxes but also individual products such as the Play Gym in Europe with focus on the English, German, Dutch, French and Spanish markets.

This role will report to the Performance Marketing Manager in Amsterdam, and work cross-functionally with Design and Creative, Brand, Social, Retention and Customer Service teams.


  • Support growth of our performance marketing channels such as Facebook/Instagram, Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), Affiliate and Partnerships (AWIN), Pinterest, Offline Marketing and potentially TikTok, Podcasts and others
  • Create, manage and optimize your own campaigns across various channels including landing page creation.
  • Management of the process to create high performing ads in different formats: Images or Video in currently 5 different languages to test the ads, landing pages and optimize for growth.
  • Monitor performance of channels and A/B tests, identifying opportunities for improvement based on engagement, conversion rates, etc.
  • Support the performance marketing reporting incl. creation of dashboards in Google Data Studio, Google Sheets using Supermetrics, Looker.

About You

  • 2+ years experience in a role managing Performance Marketing Campaigns on Facebook/Instagram and/or Google Ads.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree, major in Marketing, Communication or Statistics preferred
  • Strong communication skills – You can effectively communicate your performance, learnings, and ideas to people.
  • Strong attention to detail when creating campaigns, targeting and ads as well as strong coordination skills.
  • Knowledge/understanding of KPIs, web tracking and reporting.
  • Intellectual curiosity, with a focus on optimization and continuous improvement through a test-and-learn mentality.
  • Language skills: English fluent and one other language e.g. German, French, Spain or Dutch preferred.
